Mana Kai Paddle is our go-to rental shop for all beach gear. My family has always rented snorkel gear and paddle boards from Ricky. They just started tours and we’d love to do a kayak tour during whale season. Nothing better than supporting a family business in a small island town. Five stars over and over again!!!!!

Great with Paddleboarding!

This place is super great for first timers! Ricky was a great paddleboard teacher and was extremely friendly! The beach they’re located on is beautiful and there is even a rocky section that gets turtles sometimes. It’s also walking distance from plenty of nearby resorts, which made it very accessible for us. If you’re looking for a place to paddleboard or kayak in the beach, this is a great place to do it! Great kayaking!

Beautiful, calm, clear water where you can see coral and fish right from your kayak! Scenery around is also spectacular. Felt safe in the water without a guide passing by other SUP, outriggers, snorkelers & swimmers. Not windy at all at 7 am so perfect for our family of 5. Ricky sent us to a spot by the rocks for our best chance of seeing sea turtles & we were lucky enough to see 2!

We Had a Great Time!

My partner rented a paddle board from Carol this week, and he had a great time. We appreciated Carol's instructions and guidance about the water/wind conditions that week. After paying for our board rentals, I decided at the last-minute that I didn't feel comfortable going out in the water (I've never paddle boarded before) and Carol offered to refund my rental charge (and did so) -- no questions asked or pressure applied. She was extremely kind and respectful, and I hope that the next time we are on Maui I'll take the plunge and rent a board from her! Thanks, Carol.
